Yesterday in US mkts: Dow Jones falls 138 points or 1.7% at 7920, NASDAQ down 1.7% or 28 points at 1625, S&P 500 down 2% or 17 points at 842.
Indian ADRs ended mixed on Tuesday. In IT space, Satyam was down 11.11% at $ 2, Wipro was down 3.54% at $ 8.44, Infosys was down 2.44% at $ 28.76 and Patni Computers was down 3.01% at $ 6.45. In Banking space, ICICI Bank was down 4.07% at $ 16.95 and HDFC Bank was down 1.98% at $ 69.24. However, Telecom ADRs were up. Tata Communication was up 3.4% at $ 23.75 and MTNL was up 1.75% at $ 2.91. In other sectors, Tata Motors was down 4.66% at $ 7.36, Sterlite Industries was down 3.5% at $ 8.28 and Dr Reddy’s Labs was down 2.34% at $ 10.42.
