Yesterday in US markets: Dow Jones ends down 85 points or 1.1% at 7400, slips 150 points from days high of 7549, Nasdaq ends down 7.7 points or 0. 5% at 1484, slips 26 points from days high of 1510 and S&P 500 ends down 10.3 points or 1.3% at 784, slips 18 points from days high of 802.
Asian markets are trading mixed. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng is trading down 1.10% or 143.92 points at 12,987, Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted is trading down 0.56% or 28.38 points at 5007.55, Singapore’s Straits is trading down 0.37% or 5.81 points at 1579. Among the gainers, China’s Shanghai Composite is trading up 0.30% or 6.85 points at 2272.609, South Korea’s Seoul Composite is trading up 0.52% or 6.06 points at 1167.87, and KLSE Composite is trading up 0.72% or 6.09 points at 847.96.
